  6. RequestFile is a freely redistributable clone of the Shell command
  7. supplied as part of AmigaDOS 3.0 (V39).
  8.  
  9. This is an update of "requestfile.lha". The behaviour of the programs
  10. are now more compatible with Commodore-Amiga's version.
  11.  
  12. I am told that the version for V38 is still a wee bit smaller than the
  13. official version 39.2 :-)
  14.  
  15. This archive contains two versions: one for release 2.04 (V37.2) and one
  16. for 2.1 (V38.2). The reason for two versions is that even though
  17. RequestFile for V37 works all right under V38 (and newer releases),
  18. Commodore-Amiga made so many improvements to asl.library between V37
  19. and V38, that it would be a shame not to take advantage of them. :)
  20.  
  21. Even if you already have a RequestFile command, this archive may be a
  22. good starting point for a custumized version.
